Real World Report

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/death-penalty-dad-charged-toddler-death-25736168

The article i read was about a Georgia man name Justin Ross Harris leaving his 22 month old son, Cooper, to over heat and die in a car. Before Cooper died his father drove with him to exchange nude photos with young women in an office building. He intentionally left his son in the hot SUV to die three hours later. Cooper died of hyperthermia and essentially overheating. The court judge was going to sentence Justin Ross Harris to death penalty but instead sentenced him to life in jail.

My opinion on the article is confusing because why would a father leave his baby in a hot car to die intentionally. Why would he have the baby in the first place?! I am very angry at this man because it was an innocent baby that never really got a life really because his father was sexually involved with young women.

I think people of America should care about this article because this explains what would happen if someone left there baby in there car to die. They should also care because people like this need to be stop and they want to aware people that theres people like this.

Lessons Learned

For our project the most interesting part about it is the fact that we are doing a segment on Dustin Barca's thoughts on GMO because GMO is a big thing in Kauai. Its also cool because we get to learn more about GMO doing this project.

For our team the biggest roadblock is meeting up to film because everyone is busy on the days we try to meet. We are trying to solve this problem so we can shoot. Another roadblock is checking out the camera because there is a lot of kids in Mr.Sanderl's class that check out cameras everyday so we usually gotta wait to get a  camera.

The valuable part of filmmaking is when we film someone or something we learn more interesting thing about our segment and other interesting facts. Another valuable part of filmmaking is going to places that i have never gone before and filming.

HikiNo Behind the Scenes

For our Hiki No project we are doing segments on Dustin Barca and his thoughts on GMO testing. Our project is going very well because my team and i have already interviewed Dustin Barca and his thoughts on GMO so we are half way done!

When our camera isn't rolling we are being productive with other business. We are also thinking of was we can improve our project.    Thats what we do when the camera isn't rolling.

One thing i can do to help my team is help with the scripts and questions we use during the project to help my team get done and organized.  Another thing i do to help my team is help fix little mistakes or corrections that may be wrong like for example a smug on the camera.
